Trolls, But Not the Fun Garden Kind
It turns out I didn't live-blog from The Geoff and Kia Show as planned. Dragging and setting up and plugging in the crap we were playing on was already daunting enough without having to worry about a laptop too. One day I still hope to live-blog something. Maybe a bus ride. Busses have wi-fi, right?
Anyhow, so the show was pretty fun. Several nice, patient people came to watch our antics and Kia found us some amazingly fabulous clothes, including a surprisingly breathable polyester sportcoat with lapels as wide as all outdoors (me) and a deranged butterfly-festooned sweater thing that would make Amy Sedaris seethe with envy (Kia). Also, we played a bunch of stuff, starting with The Geoff and Kia Show Ultra-Deluxe Theme Song. This was a rare event where Kia played NO HORN, but mostly accordian, percussion and horamatic 9000, and she did very well. We sold a couple cds, had a couple laughs, and, best of all, readying for the show didn't cause our marriage to fall apart...THIS time.
