Sorry
for the last entry; it was a little boring. Occasionally one starts something, like say a blog entry, and then one immediately runs out of energy and thinks, "I don't have the energy to finish this", but then the more bossy, adult part of one's brain overrules the first statement with a sanctimonious "You've started it and by god you're going to finish it", and then one just sits in front of the computer screen, ticking away the moments of one's life, wondering what's the point, and just tries to get it done with in the most expedient way, sort of how Charles Ives in one of his writings about his methodology concluded (and mind you I'm paraphrasing here): "It's not the nicest way to write music.

But it's a way."

And soon enough, the lame-ass blog entry is finished, and it's not really good, but it's good enough, because after all, I never tried to pass myself off as Shakespeare or Jackie Collins or something. I mean, sheesh. Cut me a little slack. Okay, Gentle Reader? A little slack is all I ask.

ANYWAY, so the last few weeks have involved lots of holidays. But MOSTLY they involved the inaugural performance of "Me, Me, Look at ME!: A One Man Show: A Staged Reading". All sorts of upstanding, talented people volunteered their time to make it the best one man show staged reading EVER. People like: Kia, Melissa, Steve, Dave, Gregory, Tom, Anna, Sandra, Daithi, Jennifer. And later Greg, who wasn't able to make it to the actual performance in time, but better still, showed up afterward and helped load out. There were sock puppets, musical performances, monologues, soliloquies, more sock puppets: everything it takes to create a magical evening. Since "Me, Me, Look at ME!: A One Man Show" is a work in progress, I look forward to the next phase in its development. This will involve me going around and telling people I'm working on a one man show for the next five years without actually working on it.

Meanwhile, holidays have been occurring. Magical holidays. Kia now has an accordian and I have a titanium spork.
